Do you get told by others that you're:
 |
- Distractible?
- Inattentive?
- Fidgity?
- Impulsive?
|

|
 Yes,
everyone has these behaviors once in a while, but ADDers have them all the
time! They disrupt the classroom, the workplace, the theater, the others around
them. The great news is that there are several ways to minimalize the negative
effects, while emphasizing the positive!
One of the best ways to learn both skills is to
hire a coach! Coaching is a supportive environment that allows you to learn,
achieve, and dream, while you build your strengths!
Links will take you to specific information, related websites,
suggested reading material, and a few checklists and quick tests
to determine if you're ready for coaching! Enjoy! If you have any
questions, please feel free to e-mail me at

The Story of
the Dragon and the Dragonfly
Once there was a sad dragon named Fyffnyr, who
thought he was a failure. His smoke always came out wrong, more friendly than
ferocious. One day, while Fyffnyr was crying, a dragonfly flew by and asked
what was wrong. The dragon poured out his problems and fears.
The dragonfly understood. She had often been
mistaken for a giant mosquito. She explained that everyone has unique
strengths, and that happiness comes from discovering those strengths and making
them even stronger, and minimizing the weaknesses.
For a while, they met every week. The dragonfly
supported Fyffnyr while he discovered his strengths. Once he realized he didn't
need to be fierce, he invented a new career, entertaining folks with
polka-dotted smoke. The dragonfly, happy for Fyffnyr's success, went on to find
others who needed just a bit of help from a friend. |
